Young visitors from children’s home “Mladost" were guests of Porto Montenegro

Forty residents and teachers from the ‘Mladost’ children’s home in Bijela paid a visit to Porto Montenegro village and marina earlier in June.

The children spent a fun morning exploring the Pirate Ship Playground before enjoying a lunch hosted by employees from Adriatic Marinas (Porto Montenegro) at the concept store AM / PM.

After a tour of the marina village, the children visited the Naval Heritage Collection where they were greeted by the coordinator of the museum, Drazen Jovanovic. Here they learnt about the history of Tivat and its role as a former Arsenal.

The manager of the orphanage, Mr. Drago Samardzic, met the CEO of Adriatic Marinas, Oliver Corlette, who welcomed the young guests and emphasized how Porto Montenegro would always be willing to help support ‘Mladost’.

At the end of the tour, the children enjoyed refreshments hosted by the popular marina restaurant One.

PM brightens up Bambi Kindergarten

In line with our continued support for the local community Porto Montenegro recently donated EUR 1,200 to Bambi kindergarten. The donation was used to purchase new carpets, curtains and puzzle-shaped lino to create a more colourful and inspiring environment for the children.

The project came about following a meeting with the Parent Council of Tivat who wanted to help turn what was a rather dated environment, into a bright and vibrant space where local children could enjoy their pre-school education.

Ivana Soldat, the Bambi council representative was delighted with the outcome of the renovations, “Thanks to Porto Montenegro for being so open minded regarding ideas for improving our local kindergarten, and their desire to improve the quality of life in Tivat.”
