Adriatic Marinas have recently been awarded the Iskra, recognizing the company’s outstanding commitment and contribution to the local community. Since its inception, Porto Montenegro has invested over two and a half million euro in projects benefitting the local community, however it was the success of their latest project ‘Uplifting the Community’ which was the winning element of the company’s vast array of CSR initiatives throughout 2014.
The award was presented to PM’s PR Manager, Danilo Kalezić, at a ceremony held at the Royal Theatre Zeta in Cetinje. He comments: “’Uplifting the Community’ is a new project which has been implemented by Adriatic Marinas this year. As part of our CSR programme, employees have been provided with a day out of the office to participate in local activities, initiated to create a better standard of living in the community. These projects include the regeneration of playgrounds, school facilities and sports playing fields. Next year we are looking forward to continuing these fantastic projects.”
The Iskra Awards were developed to acknowledge outstanding contributions made by individuals, companies, associations and civil society organizations in the community. The annual ceremony is organized in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Management of the Diaspora.
