The 7th initiative of Adriatic Marinas’ ‘Uplifting the Community’ project has seen the complete interior and exterior renovation of the Sports Hall at Zupa.
The company fully financed the project, worth over 5,000 euro. Fifteen employees took part in re-landscaping the yard at the front of the hall, as well as the complete redesign of the lobby which involved painting, woodwork and installation of new curtains and carpets. At the front of hall, there are now also new flags representing Tivat Sports Clubs who train in this sports centre.
"We tried to restore the original beauty of this building as it represents the centre of Tivat sport to the community. We are extremely proud of this activity, which marks our last ‘Uplifting the Community’ project 2014 and we were thankful for a visit from the Mayor of Tivat, Ivan Novosel and his associates today. We would like to invite the local community to start thinking about potential activities which can be organized for our town next year,” commented Danilo Kalezić, Porto Montenegro’s PR Manager.
“I am very pleased with all the activity which has been carried out. I believe this is just the beginning of co-operation between our sports facility and Porto Montenegro, and I would like to personally thank all of the volunteers who participated in this project,” concluded Mr. Vasilije Zeljak, Director of the Sports Hall Zupa.
