Teuta superstructure is completed on schedule

The superstructure for the Teuta Residences, Porto Montenegro’s first residential building, has been completed on schedule. Located on the waterfront immediately adjacent to the marina’s primary jetty, the building contains 29 high-specification homes. Most of the homes offer large outdoor terraces and views west over the marina. When launched for sale in June of 2009, Teuta sold out very quickly. Two new buildings, Ozana and Zeta, have recently been launched for sale. Construction of these buildings is scheduled to begin in late January 2010. With the superstructure now complete, work will now begin on Teuta’s interior walls and external cladding. The building is slated for delivery at the beginning of summer 2010.

Porto Montenegro to be an official port of entry in 2010

Beginning in time for the 2010 cruising season, Porto Montenegro will be an official Port of Entry for Montenegro. This means that yachts may clear in and out of customs at the marina, without the need to stop in Zelenika, Bar or Kotor. Further, Porto Montenegro’s Yacht Assist and Concierge Service is available to assist any yachts with their customs needs, although the process has been vastly simplified and streamlines from previous years. For example, Montenegro’s new Law on Yachts – which was passed in January of 2009 – allows for a simple vignette system permitting multiple entry and underwhich a passenger manifest may be altered multiple times. Yachts requiring more information or assistance should contact Porto Montenegro’s marina office.
