Grounded in the classical art school, artist Radun Marsenić does not feel obliged to follow the beaten path. He quickly goes on an adventure to create his own worlds: working on his paintings literally like a sculptor (when he picks up a grinder tool and steel brush), Marso starts from well-known motifs – landscape or still life – and goes in search of a place where the flicker of air, the flicker of colour, this subtle the expression achieved by layers of paste puts the viewer in a dilemma – is a motif with a realistic template or just the artist’s impressions before him.
