Crew Activities

Crew activities throughout February

February is the month of carnivals, as we head to Lastva Grbaljska this Saturday for a traditional street carnival, and the largest carnival on the Tivat Riviera. Whether you join the parade or just want to watch and take in the atmosphere it is free to attend. A contest for the best mask and after party will be held at the Hotel Kamelija.

On Friday 15th, The Clubhouse will be holding a Valentine’s Masquerade Party. Join the party from 8pm where ladies can enjoy champagne for just €1. Don't forget your mask – available to purchase from the Naval Heritage Collection. The PMYC will also be celebrating Valentine's Day this Friday, with one of their infamous specialties dinners.

From Thursday 12th  to Sunday 17th a Traditional Venetian Handmade Masks exhibition by Montenegrin artist Tanja Topuzoska will be open at the Naval Heritage Collection museum. More then 100 unique masks will be on display, hand crafted for the coming Kotor Bay Carnivals. You will have the opportunity to purchase one of the display masks or order one to your own preferences.

The Cruisers class sailing regatta is scheduled for Saturday 16th in Tivat bay, hosted by the PMYC who are currently welcoming entries. On the evening of the 16th, Maximus presents their Masked Ball. Following the carnival theme, let your imagination run wild with this traditional costume party with prizes for the best costumes.

From February 22nd to 24th Porto Montenegro invites all residents to a ski weekend in Kolasin, with snow shoe tours of the beautiful lakes on Durmitor and Bjelasica mountains. Friday 22nd also welcomes the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra to Dom Vojske Theatre, where they will perform Vienna’s Waltz. Finally, get creative for the PMYC paper model boat race, being held Saturday 23rd.
