Gstaad Yacht Club Joins the PMYC reciprocal clubs family

The Gstaad Yacht Club was founded in 1998 by a group of sailing enthusiasts with a vision to creating “a unique global yacht club away from the water”. Situated in the Swiss mountains, the club offers a warm and cosy interior ambience, somewhere between a typical chalet style with nautical touches. This world-class club is the latest addition to the PMYC’s international yacht club family.

Following the tradition of world class yacht clubs, the PMYC membership card opens doors to various offshore and onshore sports and entertainment opportunities, whilst also providing offsite privileges. From the Moscow Royal Yacht Club, Beirut and California YC, to the Royal Naval Club and Royal Albert or ONE 15 Singapore YC, members of the PMYC can enjoy a warm welcome in a number of clubs across the globe.

Expanding the list of reciprocal clubs is a natural progression of the club’s overall expansion and development. Since forming the fleet of J70 boats and redefining the membership options, the team has worked tirelessly on offering a more elaborate regatta calendar, year after year. With the 2019 season kicking off with the European Match Race Tour and RC44 Cup, we can certainly expect a busy and successful season.
