2nd August 2021: Porto Montenegro, the luxury waterfront and yachting paradise in the Bay of Kotor, has won ACREW’s prestigious ‘World’s Best Superyacht Marina’ – part of the annual Superyacht Business Awards. Last year Porto Montenegro was also awarded ACREW’s Adriatic’s ‘Best Superyacht Marina’.
The Superyacht Business Awards are considered to be the most prestigious and recognised global awards programme, where ACREW’s network of over 15,000 Captain and Crew Members are invited to vote for the superyacht businesses that deserve global recognition in their field. The Best Superyacht Marina Award recognises the winning marina for providing the highest standard of services and facilities to Superyacht Captains & Crew, alongside their willingness to assist Superyacht guests – ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all.
As the world’s first Platinum-status marina, Porto Montenegro is regarded as the top marina in the Mediterranean and one of the best in the world. It has also achieved the TYHA Platinum Marina Award and became the first marina to be awarded the 5 Gold Anchor Platinum accreditation. It offers state-of-the-art facilities and is a perfect cruising destination for the season, with flexible berthing packages and the added benefit of tax-free fuel.
Tony Browne, Marina Director at Porto Montenegro, comments: “Porto Montenegro is delighted to have received the World’s Best Superyacht Marina Award as voted by our clients through the Superyacht Business Awards.
