Managing Director

David Margason

David is a property development and investment professional with over 30 years’ experience in large scale projects focused on international leisure, hospitality and mixed use waterfront developments. His previous roles include Development Director for the Majid Al Futtaim Group, focusing on acquisitions and developments within the Middle East and North Africa, Head of a Middle Eastern Family Office, and Development Director for Lendlease Corporation in The United Kingdom.

Group Chief Financial Officer

Valentina McReynolds

Valentina brings over 20 years of international experience to Porto Montenegro. Throughout her career, she has worked on various projects, holding senior financial management positions in charge of up to eleven countries. Her roles include that of Regional Finance Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, with continued professional endeavours as CFO at the Nectar Group and CFO and CEO of the McCann Group, the largest marketing and media company in the southeast European region. Valentina is married and has a young, energetic and mischievous son.

Marina Director

Tony Browne

Tony has been with the company from the start and comes armed with a varied background in management and the super yacht industry. Tony is a former super yacht captain and spent ten years at sea, chalking up two circumnavigations of the globe and over 80,000 nautical miles sailing to ports all over the world, where he experienced the varied standards of marinas first hand. Tony has also successfully managed an award winning exclusive joinery company and taught traditional sail training in his spare time.

Legal Director

Savo Djurovic

Before joining the project, Savo was legal adviser to the US Government Agency for Economic Assistance to Montenegro where his duties included drafting all laws relating to economic reforms in Montenegro. Savo also worked for the Montenegrin Ministry of Health and for many private local companies. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb and is fluent in English.

Director of Property Development

Michael Hardman

Michael is a property development professional and chartered surveyor with close to 20 years’ experience in large-scale commercial and mixed-use development, typically in major capital city and gateway markets. A University of Reading alumnus, Michael is also a master of science in Real Estate Investment Finance from Oxford Brookes University. Michael was previously a Director at Colliers in London, UK and an Associate Partner at Gardiner & Theobald, where he led engineering cost management on a prestigious €1Bn London HQ. Michael is experienced in residential-led mixed-use schemes, with a particular interest in the maturing multi-family asset class. Porto Montenegro is his first overseas assignment.

Operations Director

Desko Portic

Desko joined the project in 2011 after more than 20 years spent working in the luxury hotel industry around London. He has a proven track record of delivering new hotel projects from concept stage to completion and is strongly focused on customer service across all parts of the business. Desko oversees all of the operations onsite, outside of Construction and the Marina.

Director of Government Affairs

Predrag Lekovic

Predrag is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience. He started his career as a telecommunication engineer working in the Middle East and Central and Eastern Europe. Later, he founded or invested in several companies in different sectors, ranging from IT and software development to consumer goods sales and hospitality. He has an extensive experience dealing with both the public sector and real economy sector in Montenegro and the wider region.

Sales & Marketing Director

Hugues Jannet

Hugues Jannet is our Sales & Marketing Director and comes to us from One&Only Private Homes at Le Saint Géran, where he was working since October 2018. There, Hugues spearheaded the promotion of 52 ultra-luxury villas as part of a $250m project led by Kerzner International, which is owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), the same shareholder of Porto Montenegro. Prior to this, he served as Sales & Marketing Director at Four Seasons at Anahita, also in Mauritius, and successfully launched different phases of this luxury real estate development. Hugues obtained a BBA from ISG in Paris and later graduated from Duke University in 1998 with an MBA.
